Implementation / Tags

In order to measure and calculate the performance of every product ad and publisher, AdCurve uses tags. This documentation describes how to implement the AdCurve tags on your website.

AdCurve Tracking Tag and the Order Tag

AdCurve has 2 different tags which are required to make full use of the power and features that AdCurve offers:

Tracking Tag

The tracking tag measures all traffic and assigns incoming traffic to the correct channels. It also launches our tag management container, which will launch 3rd party pixels as needed. This tag needs to be implemented on all pages of your website.

The Order Tag

The Order Tag measures all orders and assigns them to the correct channel. It also launches our tag management container, which will launch 3rd party pixels as needed (i.e. only launch channel pixel if the order was assigned to the channel). This tag needs to be implemented on the order confirmation page of your website.

Third party tags

AdCurve fully supports third party tags like tags from retargeting and affiliate networks. The majority of these tags have already been pre-populated in AdCurve. When selecting the app for a particular publisher (i.e. Zanox, TradeTracker) the correct tags are already implemented. In the installation process you can provide the specific settings (i.e. your commission percentage, shop code, api key, etc.).

Should you require additional tags you can request this at support@adcurve.com
