Implementation / Feeds
This page provides details about the structure of your product feed for Adcurve. Adcurve can process both XML and CSV product feeds. XML is preferred.
Google Feed
If you have an existing product feed that you use with the Google Merchant Centre, or that has been created to meet Google's Product Data Specifications, we are able to use this feed to import your products to Adcurve.
Select Google as the Feed Type, and then provide the the URL for your feed file. You can find the URL in the Google Merchant Centre.
In the Merchant Centre navigate to "Products", then "Feeds", select the feed that you'd like to import to Adcurve, then select the "Schedule" tab to view the URL for your feed file. Copy this location and paste it to the Feed Location field in the Adcurve setup wizard.
Data
The feed should always contain as much data as possible. This is useful for optimizing your campaigns. Important: In order to optimize campaigns based on ROI and profit per productad it is required to add floorprices to the feed.
Additional
The feed structure consists of products and variants. In this matter, we call variant to a group of fields that represents a variation of a product, with these variations you can represent all the different sizes, colors, etc. One product should contain at least one variant.
XML Files
- - All information should be in elements and not in attributes
- - Preferably use utf-8 encoding, but other encoding methods are also supported.
- - The names of the elements are not mandatory. The Adcurve system can handle any name for each element, as long as it is a unique value.
CSV Files
Please note the following when using a CSV file:
- - Use a semicolon ( ; ) to split the columns. If you want to use any other character please be aware to use a sign that is not used in the product description.
- - Use tilde ( ~ ) as a quoting character. If you want to use any other character please be aware to use a unique sign that is not used in the product description.
- - Please insert the column names in the header.
